A Workshop by Bella Fuego

RECLAIM YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO YOURSELF. YOUR SENSUALITY, EMOTIONS, POWER, GRACE

Your body is a channel of emotions and experiences, a storehouse of thoughts and feelings.
You want this body of yours to feel free.
You want to feel sensual, graceful, confident, magnetic and powerful.

The type of POWERFUL that’s developed from creating time for yourself and establishing personal practices that prioritise your full bodied expression.

It starts, and is perpetuated, with your CURIOSITY.
That inner desire to learn more about yourself and be with yourself.

THE EMBODIED DANCE WORKSHOP is an opportunity to embody your field of feminine expression.

An opportunity to immerse in movement, music, space and time to explore the mind and body as a channel of emotion and human experience.

You don’t need to continue feeling awkward, un-coordinated, ungraceful, dull, disconnected or desensitised in your body or in your life.

This body of yours can access the experiences of enhanced flow, fun, freedom, pleasure, sensuality, trust, magnetism, confidence, and vitality; and that will draw into how you move through your life.

FAQ’s

WHAT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?

Please consider bringing kneepads or thick pants and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

I DON’T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

This workshop is designed for beginners, whilst a little body awareness will help, the purpose of this workshop is to offer accessible movements for anyone to develop and experience sensory dance that can lead to feelings of grace and confidence.

I HAVE A LOT OF DANCE EXPERIENCE, WILL THIS BE SUITABLE FOR ME?

I trust that my style of choreography will be interesting for experienced dancers and that you’ll find the sequencing very fluid and pleasing, as well you’ll have full access to my further insights on body anatomy to articulate refined movements, which I always offer if I feel students are available to understand.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Please dress to feel expressive, confident and also comfortable for movement, you will like to wear pants and socks to make sure you can slide on the floor.

I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I STILL ATTEND?

This is a somewhat dynamic style, however the technique is learnt and executed slowly, anatomically and mindfully. We explore floorwork from: seated, kneeling, rolling around, manoeuvring our body with weight over our wrists, circulating our hips, articulating the spinal column, head rolls, and maybe even rolling our body over our shoulders, with all that in mind, please feel welcome to attend if you are comfortable that you can communicate and manage your injuries.
